I studied for my Masters degree in Oxford and stayed on in the lab of Paresh Vyas for my Doctorate. I then joined the Lacaud lab in 2011 for my first Post-Doc position.
My scientific interests are primarily developmental haematopoiesis, particularly relating Runx1 expression to adult haematopoiesis and leukaemia.
My personal interests include film, live music and comedy and being an armchair Everton FC supporter!
I have been working as post-doctoral fellow over two years having joined the lab directly from Penn State University, USA.
My research focuses on reprogramming skin cells to blood cells.
When I am not at bench, I either run or read.
I studied in Tuebingen and Leipzig, PhD in Nottingham and 1st PostDoc in Manchester
