British Association for Cancer Research Translational Award winner

Romina Girotti, a postdoctoral fellow in the Molecular Oncology group, is a recipient of the British Association for Cancer Research (BACR) Translational Award. She was presented the award during the annual National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) Cancer Conference, held in Liverpool this November. This high profile prize was given to her for her research that aims to implement personalised medicine for melanoma patients. As part of the prize, Romina presented her progress at the conference during the ‘Liquid biopsies with a twist’ session.
