We are delighted to announce that Professor Richard Marais, CRUK MI Director, has recently become the President of the European Association of Cancer Research (EACR), sitting from 2014 to 2016. During his presidency, Professor Marais will take the lead role in organising the 24th EACR Biennial Congress, which will be held in Manchester from 9 – 12 July 2016. This prestigious event will help raise the profile of cancer research in Manchester on a global level.
