The Logistics department provides a comprehensive and efficient portering service for the Institute.

Responsibilities and services provided:

Receipting and distribution of parcels
Liquid nitrogen: delivery, monitoring and refills
Delivery of dry ice pellets
Lab gases
Central stores’ stock and freezer orders (including Life Technologies, Sigma, Promega, New England Biolabs and Qiagen)
Sample transfers between sites
Lab waste collections
Assisting or managing in the movement of equipment/furniture
Disposal of large redundant furniture/electrical equipment
Supporting recycling initiatives
